After a long sabbatical Music For Swinging Mothers returns with a belter of an EP. Starting off proceedings with a heavyweight slice of Retro Deep House harking back to the glory days of US Deep House. Ripping a beauty of an a-cappella from the rich Defected catalogue and putting over a delicious original vibe it’s ready for any Dance floor. Taking another classic, Angie Stones - ‘I Wish’ we’ve ripped up the rule book and slowed the vibe down with some Benson' esque guitars, sweeping strings and some off kilter piano which we think ‘aint too shabby. Upping the heart rate we take a look at BT Express - ‘Peace pipe’ and we’ve added some much appreciated thump for those late night sessions we all love. We end proceedings with ‘Never Was Love’ a Jazzy, Breaky track featuring original Judy Roberts vocals. Welcome back swingers. We hope it was worth the wait.x
